Rider accident insurance

Rider accident insurance may provide financial support if you are injured in a covered accident while completing deliveries with Deliveroo.

To be covered, the accident must happen during the covered delivery period. This starts when you accept a delivery request in the Deliveroo app and ends when the delivery is completed or cancelled, plus 15 minutes after completion or cancellation.

Depending on the circumstances, this insurance may help if you are injured and unable to work. It may also provide lump sum payments for certain serious injuries.

Who's covered?

Eligible Deliveroo riders may be covered while they are working during the covered delivery period.

What's not covered?

This insurance does not cover every situation. For example, you will not be covered if the accident happens before you accept a delivery request, or after the 15-minute period following completion or cancellation of a delivery.
